Abstract

It is checked the hypothesis about eruption of comets by transplutonian planet X. Theoretically there are five criterions, that must be performed in case of credibility of the hypothesis. For statistical check up there are 9885 pairs of sungrazing comets with similar orbits: difference of value of incline, longitude of ascending unit and argument of perigelion of comets – twins, less than 1. There is a conclusion about an uncredibility by of the hypothesis: the planet X is not maternal for sungrazing comets.
